origami and chocolate

I like me a bit of origami to look at....especially whilst drinking the best hot chocolate I think I've ever had.

rotating, layering pt 2

Part 2 of the session, and a change of pose - from sitting to lying down.

A similar idea as that cited in the previous blog entry - 4 separate drawings of the same model on the same A1 paper - the podium rotated through 4 positions.

The layering, or spatial interaction of each figure drawing, accidentally took on a different meaning - the works sometimes suggesting a much more intimate narrative.

They put me in mind of Spencer Tunick's work

and one of the essays on his website:

A seated model atop a very useful piece of kit in a drawing studio - a rotating podium (see it centre right of the linked photo).
4 drawings were completed - 1 layered on top of the next....
